Scattered thunderstorms in eastern Tennessee (and more storms farther north) may continue to congeal into a line over the next few hours as they gradually progress southward. As this occurs, they'll be capable of producing strong wind gusts as well as hail up to quarter size. Significant uncertainty remains regarding how far south storms will progress before weakening late this evening into tonight, with some potential they'll make it as far south as the Atlanta metro.
