The primary threat this evening into the early overnight is strong thunderstorm wind gust. One or more line segments of thunderstorm activity are possible across portions of western and central SD, that could be capable of producing 60-70mph damaging wind gusts. Secondary threats include hail up to one inch in diameter and maybe a brief isolated tornado or two.
