For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills ranging from 10 degrees above zero to a few degrees below zero expected. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, northeast, northwest, southeast, and west central Georgia. * WHEN...For the Wind Advisory, until 7 PM EST this evening. For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 1 AM to 10 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. Information: Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. |
