A low pressure system will weaken as it lifts northeastward through Utah on Tuesday, ahead of another system moving into the western U.S. This will put Colorado under a brief moisture fetch, increasing thunderstorm chances for Tuesday across southern Colorado. The focus for thunderstorms will shift eastward for Wednesday into the southeast CO mountains and plains, before drier air with the next system spreads into southern Colorado.
